Session 2: “Internationalization of the Curriculum” by Dr. Konstantinos Petridis
- How can you implement internationalization into your courses? The Erasmus+ Programme introduces a novel approach known as the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP). This initiative requires collaboration between at least three Higher Education Institutions from participating Erasmus+ countries. The objective is to design a course that fosters innovative instructional and learning methods. This approach not only internationalizes the curriculum but also promotes a dynamic and interactive learning environment.
About the speaker: Dr. Konstantinos Petridis is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronic Engineering at the Hellenic Mediterranean University (HMU) in Greece. In addition to his academic role, he also serves as the Director of the International Relations Office and holds the position of Vice Rector of Internationalization. Dr. Petridis has been actively involved in coordinating Erasmus Projects since 2005, demonstrating his commitment to international education. His leadership roles include coordinating two Lifelong Learning Programme Curriculum Development Projects, two Intensive Programs, two Strategic Partnership projects, and two Capacity Building Projects for Higher Education. Furthermore, he has contributed as a partner to over ten other Erasmus projects. His significant contributions to the Erasmus actions have earned him recognition from both the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY) and the European Association of Erasmus Coordinators (EAEC). His extensive experience and dedication make him a valuable asset in the field of international education.
Looking forward to seeing you on ZOOM!
