Gabriela Méndez

Gabriela Méndez holds a Master’s in Information Technology Management and has worked in different aspects of education since 2008. Before joining Florida International University’s Office of Collaborative Online International Learning (FIU COIL) as Assistant Director in 2022, she worked at Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico where she gained experience in online education, course design, and technology implementation. 

Since 2017, her work has focused on serving faculty and administrators participating in COIL Virtual Exchange, she designs and facilitates professional development, supports faculty in the search for potential international COIL partners, and she provides implementation guidance. She has also presented and facilitated workshops at different international conferences.
